E4E is a system, a protocol, engineered for the 47.9 million essential workers who keep America running. Every decision, from formula to language to visual design, reflects one commitment: these people deserve better than the afterthought.
Mission
"To strengthen the resilience and sharpen the bodies and minds of Essential Workers."
The single sentence every brand decision is measured against.
Category
Occupational Depletion
Essential workers face increased withdrawal demands: 12-hour rotations, split-second decisions, emotional resilience. Workers operate at "Biological Overdraft," borrowing energy daily through stimulants rather than genuine restoration.
Customer Identity
"The Industrial Athlete"
This customer does not optimize. They restore. They maintain baseline function under conditions that would deplete most people within a week: nurses, firefighters, paramedics, construction workers, and similar professionals.
Tagline
"Built for the Backbone of America"
Primary tagline. Use in full. Never truncate. Letter-spaced, uppercase in all brand applications.
Target Market
~47.9M US Essential Workers
Healthcare, protective services, construction, utilities, transportation, and military sectors.
Brand Vision
The Essential Routine
A three-step system: REFUEL at the start of a work day, RECHARGE at midday, RECOVER before sleep.
Brand Personality Traits. Credible: every claim names its mechanism, no vague wellness assertions. Direct: one idea per sentence, the reader should not have to work to extract the point. Purposeful: E4E exists for a reason, the brand never loses sight of who it serves.
02 — Logo & Mark System
The Mark
The E4E logo consists of the E4E wordmark ("E4E" in bold condensed all-caps within a rectangular border) paired with "ESSENTIALS FOR ESSENTIALS" in condensed all-caps below it. These form the primary lockup and should remain together in most applications. A secondary diamond icon (rotated square) serves as a step indicator on packaging, a bullet-point substitute in materials, and a standalone icon for digital use where full lockups are impractical.

▪
Always Uppercase
The wordmark is never rendered in mixed case or lowercase. Using the descriptor line without the wordmark is also prohibited.
▪
Minimum Clear Space
Maintain a minimum clear space equal to the height of the "E" in the wordmark on all four sides of the lockup. No other graphic elements, text, or imagery may enter this zone.
▪
Minimum Size — Digital
80px wide minimum for the full lockup. 24px minimum for the diamond icon alone.
▪
Minimum Size — Print
0.75 inches wide minimum for the full lockup.
▪
No Distortion
Never stretch, compress, or distort the logo. Never rotate the lockup, though the diamond icon may use its natural 45-degree angle.
▪
No Effects
No drop shadows, gradients, or effects. No busy photographic backgrounds without a solid or semi-transparent backing behind the mark.
▪
Approved Colors Only
Render the mark in E4E Charcoal, E4E White, or the three brand colors (Rust, Midnight, Fatigue) only. No colors outside the palette.
▪
Co-Branding
When E4E appears with partner logos, the E4E logo must maintain equal or greater visual weight. Use the full lockup, not the icon alone. Maintain a minimum 24pt separation between E4E and partner logos.
03 — Color Palette
The System

05 — Product System
The Essential Routine
Three formulas. One system. REFUEL at the start of a work day, RECHARGE at midday, RECOVER before sleep. Each formula is fixed to one brand color, so the color on a sachet always tells you which step of the routine it is.
01
Refuel
Step 1 — Start of Day · E4E Fatigue #8F875A
Methylation support and cellular health activation. Starts the biological engine, addressing the foundational deficits that accumulate from irregular schedules, poor sleep, and high oxidative stress loads.
Midday support through a measured ~22mg caffeine dose via Guarana, low enough to not spike cortisol, enough to extend cognitive precision through hour 10 of a 12-hour rotation.
Sleep architecture support and overnight cellular repair. Designed around the reality that essential workers rarely get 8 hours, so every hour of sleep must count more. No dependency compounds.

Mg BisglycinateMelatoninGABAApigenin
06 — Brand Voice
How We Speak
Credible. Direct. Purposeful. E4E never dumbs down, never condescends, never leans on aspirational fantasy. It speaks to people who have seen the inside of a hospital at 3am, who have driven 600 miles without a proper break, who know what fatigue actually means.
Personality Trait 01
Credible
Every claim names its mechanism. No vague wellness assertions. If a sentence can't point to what it's talking about, it doesn't ship.
Personality Trait 02
Direct
One idea per sentence. The reader should not have to work to extract the point. Short sentences. No hedging. No "may help support" weasel language.
Personality Trait 03
Purposeful
E4E exists for a reason. The brand never loses sight of who it serves: nurses, firefighters, paramedics, construction workers, and the rest of the Industrial Athlete audience.
The Two Absolute Rules — Non-Negotiable
1
No em dashes in any copy. Use colons, commas, or periods instead.
2
The word "shift" does not appear in any E4E copy, in any form.
Write Like This
"Your body is running a biological overdraft. E4E balances the books."
"Methylation affects energy production at the cellular level. TMG addresses the deficit directly."
"Built for 12-hour rotations. Not weekend warriors."
"The routine compounds. One work day at a time."
"Sleep is when the repair happens. Recover makes every hour count."
Never Write Like This
"Unlock your full potential and crush your goals!"
"Our proprietary blend may help support healthy energy levels.*"
"You deserve to feel amazing every single day."
"Rise and grind, the hustle never stops! 💪"
"Ready for your next shift?" (banned word, and an em dash elsewhere in the line)

08 — Photography & Art Direction
The Visual Standard
E4E photography shows real essential workers in real environments. No stock photography aesthetics. No gym settings. No aspirational lifestyle imagery. Documentary rather than promotional: subjects doing their jobs rather than performing for the camera.
Key principle: if the image could appear in an ad for athletic apparel or a fitness brand, it is not an E4E image.
◎
What to Shoot
Active work environments: operating rooms, construction sites, firehouses, truck stops, utility infrastructure. Transition moments: start of rotation at pre-dawn, midday pause, end of a long day. Product in context: sachet on a workbench, carton in a locker, hand reaching for a daily packet.
⬡
Hands & Tools
Close-up details that communicate the physical reality of essential work. Hands are the story: callused, gloved, precise.
✗
What to Avoid
Gym settings, fitness equipment, athletic wear. Aspirational lifestyle imagery: luxury environments, leisure settings. Smiling-at-camera product poses. Heavily retouched or filtered imagery. Stock photography that reads as generic wellness content.
◈
Lighting & Subject Direction
Practical and honest: natural light where available, practical artificial light matching the environment. Subjects are real essential workers in appropriate uniforms or work gear, mid-task or at rest, with neutral to determined expressions reflecting their actual work.
Three packaging formats: Sachet, Gravity Carton, Shipping Box. Each serves a distinct distribution context. Visual language stays consistent across all formats: E4E lockup and step indicator dominant, formula name in display type, ingredient and compliance information secondary.
Primary Packaging
Sachet
Color-coded to formula. Front panel: E4E wordmark, diamond icon plus step number, formula name in display type, tagline. Back panel: ingredient list, Supplement Facts (FDA-compliant), sequence indicator.
Kraft exterior with stencil / stamp aesthetic. Diagonal stripe motif on the bottom edge (Rust, Midnight, Fatigue, Charcoal). Interior lid: system map, instructions, brand manifesto copy.
Note: the Brand Style Guide V2.0 does not specify physical dimensions, substrate materials, ink types, or die-cut specs for any of the three formats above. Those live in separate packaging engineering documentation, not in this guide.
10 — Do's & Don'ts
The Hard Lines
Brand integrity is non-negotiable. These rules are not style preferences. They are the difference between E4E and every other supplement on the shelf. Each violation erodes the credibility built with an audience that has a finely tuned sensitivity to inauthenticity.
Do
✓Name the mechanism behind every claim
✓Use colons, commas, or periods, never em dashes
✓Use "supports", "designed for", "helps fuel"
✓Include the E4E mark on every creative
✓Keep each formula on its fixed brand color
✓Show the product packaging clearly
✓Use E4E Rust as the single primary CTA accent
Don't
✗Use "cures", "treats", "heals" in any copy
✗Use em dashes anywhere in E4E copy
✗Use the word "shift" in any form
✗Stretch, compress, or rotate the logo lockup
✗Use gradients, drop shadows, or effects on the mark
✗Call E4E a "supplement" (it is a system, a protocol)
✗Use aspirational fantasy ("Be your best self")
11 — Channel Application Guidelines
Voice, By Channel
The same Two Absolute Rules apply everywhere. Case treatment, trademark symbol frequency, and exclamation-mark limits vary by channel. This is the reference table for each surface E4E copy ships on.
9.1 — Website
H1 headline: Title Case. H2/H3 subheadings: Title Case. Body paragraphs: Sentence case. Navigation labels: Title Case. CTA buttons: Title Case. Form field labels: Sentence case. Product names: "The Essential Routine" (Title Case); REFUEL/RECHARGE/RECOVER (all-caps). Trademark symbols at first mention per page: TeaCrine®, Dynamine®, PurCaf®, Affron®. URLs in body copy: lowercase, e.g. "visit e4ehealth.com".
9.2 — Packaging
Product step name (front panel), ALL CAPS: REFUEL / RECHARGE / RECOVER. System descriptor (front panel): "The Essential Routine" (Title Case, "The" capitalized). Marketing claims (back panel): Sentence case. Section headers (back panel), Title Case: "Why This Works" / "What You Will Notice". Supplement Facts panel: follow FDA 21 CFR 101.36 exactly, no style discretion. Trademark symbols required at every mention, not first-mention only, since every panel is independent. E4E brand name: "E4E Health" on the front panel, "E4E Health Inc." for the legal / distributor field. Occupation references always lowercase: nurses, firefighters, paramedics. Em dashes: never on packaging, use colon, comma, or period.
9.3 — Digital Ads (Google & Meta)
Short headlines (Google, 30 characters), Title Case, e.g. "Balance Your Biology" / "Built for 12-Hour Days." Meta primary text: Sentence case. Meta ad headline: Title Case, e.g. "Your Stack Is Running You Into Debt." CTA buttons: Title Case, e.g. "Calculate Your Overdraft Score". Trademark symbols: first mention per ad unit. Exclamation marks: zero, no exceptions in ad copy.
9.4 — Email
Subject line: Sentence case, never Title Case (Title Case triggers spam filters). Preview text: Sentence case, completes or extends the subject line. Email headline (H1): Title Case. Section subheaders (H2): Title Case. Body copy: Sentence case throughout. CTA button: Title Case, e.g. "Take the Overdraft Assessment" / "Find Your Essential Routine." Trademark symbols: first mention per email only. Exclamation marks: max one per email, in body copy only, zero in subject lines.
9.5 — SMS
Body copy: Sentence case, 160 characters max. Trademark symbols: omit, plain name only ("TeaCrine" not "TeaCrine®"). Exclamation marks: zero. Emoji: only if occupationally specific, no decorative emoji. Product names: "The Essential Routine" (Title Case); REFUEL/RECHARGE/RECOVER (all-caps, no symbol).
9.6 — Print / Sponsorship / Out-of-Home
Primary headline: Title Case, e.g. "Built for the Backbone of America." Body copy (if present): Sentence case. Product name: "The Essential Routine" (always); REFUEL/RECHARGE/RECOVER if an individual formula is featured. Logo lockup text: E4E or E4E Health, follow the logo lockup spec, no modified versions. Trademark symbols: first mention per document, or per panel on signage. Hashtags: #EssentialWorkers / #BiologicalOverdraft / #E4EHealth.
